Requirements

• Required: Master’s degree in Mathematics.
• Preferred: A terminal degree (Ph.D. or Ed.D.) in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, or a related field.
• Required: Demonstrated background or formal coursework in education and educational pedagogy.
• Required: Teaching experience in both traditional (in-person) and online higher education settings.
• Demonstrated proficiency with the Canvas Learning Management System (LMS).
• Strong overall technological literacy, including comfort with video communication tools, digital grading systems, and math-specific instructional technology.
• Must be a professing Christian who models an active Christian lifestyle and actively serves in their local church/community.
• Active affiliation with the Churches of Christ is strongly preferred, in alignment with ACU’s heritage and mission.
